The deck being discussed today is the Rider-Waite tarot deck. The characters on the cards are mirroring our journey. The cards tell a story.
Before we get into the cards let's chat about mood and environment. Reading tarot is connecting with Universe, God, Source whatever your personal label. The with a clear head the communication is clearer, so take a slow filling breath in, hold for a count of three and then slowly exhale.
And again. Let all expectations and fear release with your breath. When feel calm and relaxed, pick up your cards and either purify them or not. You do what FEELS best, and what works best for you.
I am going to share my knowledge because I have a 9th house Mercury. 😊 To cleanse your cards you can tap on them three times, smudge them with smoke. I personally send a prayer for the highest vibrational message I can receive at this moment.
I do that because I get puzzles pieces, my spirit guides figured since I was a Swiftie that I wanted Easter egg downloads and plot clues. So I ask from the start for clarity assistance.
Our energetic guidance associates LOVE to help, but can only do so when asked. I find they want to be heard just as much as we in the physical do.
Let's look at the tarot story starting with the Fool.
Look at the card, what do you feel? Not what do you know, what do you feel? Me? Anxiety because of heights and falling.
Now let's ask questions about the image to find the story. Do you think he hears the dog? Does the dog see the edge or is he to wrapped up in the Fool? That dog clearly is use to this fools B.S. so that's his dog.
Ok we got a man and a dog walking, just a little stroll up high. Was this his end point? Picnic on the point with his dog? Fun way to spend the day. He's not paying attention to where he is, I feel like he doesn't know where he is going, he is just going.
Like Forrest Gump and his three years, two months, 14 days and 16 hour run. The fool has one thought, that it feels amazing to be outside in nature walking. He doesn't even have awareness he is on a journey, and it is clear he is.
You know what I love about the fool, is how to me it represents 2024's astrology theme. If you could take a picture of being in that moment before the show drops, or as in the case with the Fool and his dog, takes a step and falls off a mountain.
The next time we will see where the fool lands on card 1. What questions do you have for the Fool?
